I created this matte painting as the key visual for Red Bull’s internal stakeholder convention in Brazil.
Concept
Red Bull 2085 is a matte painting project created for Red Bull’s internal audience, exploring a simple question:
What could the future look like for the people behind the brand?
The concept brings that future into the present through an astronaut emerging from a portal, riding a futuristic board as they cross between worlds.
The board and the sense of movement connect the futuristic narrative with Red Bull’s long-standing relationship with action and extreme sports, translating one of the brand’s core territories into a sci-fi vision of 2085.
