Bossa
& Zen

For the first Rio edition of Red Bull Bar Talks, guests and experts came together for a full day of talks, workshops, and creative exchange. The debut theme was Hi-Low, and the creative direction started from an equally simple idea: less is more.

Rather than adding more, we stripped things back, looking for a purer visual language that could capture both Rio de Janeiro and Red Bull’s energy without falling into the city’s most obvious clichés.

Key-Visual

Simplicity became a light, zen-like visual language. The city came through the iconic waves of Ipanema’s sidewalks. And identity came from that unmistakably Carioca way of radiating warmth, movement, and energy.

The visual recipe was built around three ingredients: simplicity, identity, and the city's vibrance.

These elements came together in the event’s key visual. Organic forms, rhythm, and negative space create a composition that feels simple, airy, and almost hypnotic, a visual language that carries Red Bull’s energy without losing Rio’s bossa.

A Shot of Energy

The identity came to life across the entire Bar Talks experience, from the usual save-the-dates, invitations, reminders, and thank-yous to physical pieces created specifically for the event.

Floor graphics brought the waves into the space. Buttons turned elements of the identity into small collectibles. A laser-engraved cocktail kit took the bar experience beyond the event itself. And a custom beach sarong created for the occasion brought the identity to its most naturally Carioca habitat: the beach.

More than simply applying a key visual across different formats, the idea was to build an atmosphere around the event. Each piece added another layer to the same recipe: Red Bull, simplicity, identity, and a little bit of Rio de Janeiro.
